Who are we?
Welcome to TrueGift, a small California nonprofit corporation implementing direct contributions of school supplies to individual classrooms. Why is this important? Think of us as a gift registry for classrooms needing school supplies -- we allow teachers to request specific school supplies and ask donors to provide those supplies. Donors can give to TrueGift and specify where they want their donations to go, or they can give directly to a school or teacher listed on our website.

TrueGift would like to thank our many contributors, including Albertson's, PG&E, the PG&E Black Employee Association, and the Castro Valley/Hayward Kiwanis Club, as well as the countless individuals who have donated their time and financial resources to TrueGift's efforts. A special thanks to Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) for their generous support of TrueGift for the second consecutive year! Their Black Employees Association recently fulfilled all of the supply requests for Malcolm X Academy and prepared a number of backpacks to be given directly to students in need.
